Is it for us?
What kind of business is UNITORI for?
Businesses that sell physical products to other businesses, to the public, or both, and want one system for products, stock, customers and orders. It was built around wholesalers who also sell retail, so packs, trade accounts and two price tiers are part of the core and not an add-on.
We are a small team. Is it too much?
No. The order, stock check, invoice and shipping steps can each belong to a different department in a larger company, but a small business can run a whole order from one page. You switch on the channels you use and ignore the rest.
Do we install anything?
No. You sign in from a browser. Your online shop is a website on your own domain.
Getting started
How do we move our products in?
Three ways, and you can mix them. Import an Excel or CSV file, where the columns are matched to your fields for you to confirm. Paste the address of a product page and have it read into a draft. Or upload a product's photos and let UNITORI draft the listing.
And our customers?
Import a customer file. If it has a column saying who is an approved trade customer, that is read too. Customers keep several addresses each.
Can we keep our own field names?
Yes. Products, customers and suppliers each take attributes you define, such as fabric, season or sales rep, and you can filter and search by them.
Selling and getting paid
Can one shop serve both retail and wholesale buyers?
Yes. A visitor sees retail prices. A trade customer you have approved signs in and sees wholesale prices, packs and trade payment options. You can also run a separate shop per sales channel.
Whose payment account is used?
Yours. You connect your own Stripe, Authorize.net or PayPal account, and the money goes to you directly.
How do wholesale customers pay?
Their card is saved and charged for each invoice as it is issued, or they pay by invoice through their bank. Accounts you approve can have net terms.
What happens when we only have part of an order?
The part you have is invoiced and shipped. The rest stays on the same order as a backorder and is invoiced separately when it arrives.
Your data and the AI
Can other companies see our data?
No. Every record belongs to one company, and every screen and report is limited to the company you are signed in to.
Where does the AI run?
On a model we host ourselves. Your product photos, files and videos are not sent to an outside AI service.
Does the AI change anything on its own?
No. It drafts products, matches columns and suggests products in videos. Each of those waits for a person to check and save it.
